Privacy Policy
Crewgine Digital Studio (“Crewgine”) is based in Punjab, India. This policy explains what personal data the website at www.crewgine.com actually collects, why, and who else handles it. It is written for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. It is a description of our practice, not legal advice, and it does not replace a project proposal or invoice.
We are the Data Fiduciary for personal data we decide the purpose of. We do not sell personal information. We do not run a card checkout on this website, and the public forms do not ask for passwords, bank details, or government identity numbers.
Contact form
If you send the contact form, we receive your name, email, phone number, project type, and message. Company name and budget range are optional. We also store the page address you sent the form from, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent.
Sending the form is you giving us those details so we can reply to that enquiry. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, that is personal data you have voluntarily provided for a specified purpose. There is no separate marketing opt-in, and we do not store a consent checkbox. You can later ask us to stop using the details.
Reviews
The review form asks for a name, a star rating, a short review, a problem, and a solution. It does not ask for an email. We store what you submit. A new review is not shown on the site until someone at the studio publishes it. We may refuse it or take a published review down.
Browsing, cookies, and measurement
Google Analytics (G-X3BN6SYHSW and Firebase Analytics G-BHGT0J40FB) and a Meta pixel load only after you choose Accept on the cookie notice. Rejecting that notice does not load them, and a contact-form lead is not sent to Meta. If you accept, Google Analytics can set cookies such as _ga, and Meta can set _fbp and _fbc. A lead event can then include a hashed form of your email and phone, those cookie values, your IP address, and your user-agent. Details are in the cookie policy.
Your Accept or Reject choice is stored in this browser under crewgine-cookie-consent. The site may also read theme-preference from local storage if it is already there. Choosing a service in the process notes can store that title in session storage so the contact form can be filled in. Those are not advertising cookies. You can change the measurement choice later from Cookie settings in the footer.
How we use it
- Reply to the enquiry and send you a short confirmation email.
- Keep a record of the enquiry and whether it is new, in progress, or closed.
- Limit repeated submissions and block IP addresses that abuse the form.
- Measure Meta advertising, as described above.
- Publish a review if we choose to show it.
- Carry out a project and raise invoices if we later work together.
Client and invoice records
If a project goes ahead, we keep the details needed to do the work and to invoice it: names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses you give us, the services sold, and whether an invoice is pending or paid. Invoices are prepared by the studio and sent to you. They are not paid inside this website, and we do not use a payment gateway here.
Who else handles the data
- Google Firebase (Firestore) stores enquiries, reviews, site content, and client records.
- Resend sends the enquiry to [email protected] and [email protected], and the confirmation to you.
- Meta receives pixel events and contact-form lead events.
- ImageKit hosts images and other media we publish.
- Vercel hosts the website and receives the connection data needed to serve it, including IP addresses.
- WhatsApp, if you use the chat button, is a separate Meta service with its own terms.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We do not promise that every copy stays in India. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows a transfer except to a country the Central Government restricts.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and review records while we need them to respond, keep a history of the conversation, or deal with spam or a dispute. There is no automatic deletion date. Client and invoice records are kept for the job and for as long as we need them for our accounts or a legal claim. If you ask us to erase an enquiry or a review, we will, unless we still need that record for an invoice, a dispute, or a legal duty.
Your requests
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, or raise a grievance. Write to [email protected] or call +91 7347310437. We will answer as soon as we reasonably can. We do not promise a fixed number of days. These are the rights the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives a Data Principal, exercised through us. We have not appointed a separate Data Protection Officer, and we do not claim to be a Significant Data Fiduciary.
This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it. We do not run an age check on the forms.
Security
Studio records are limited to people who operate Crewgine. The site is served over HTTPS. Email and cloud storage can still be intercepted or lost. We do not promise that storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
